Season Conversation

The songs we sing are a portal to the deeper conversation of our season, which will largely take place through our accompanying podcast. Participate in this aspect of the season as much as it feels fun for you. If there’s enough interest, we may organize opportunities to get together with other singers in your area to discuss the songs, podcast episodes and theme with the support of journal prompts and study guides. Let us know if that sounds awesome to you.

In the podcast, we’ll be sharing the stories behind the songs in much more detail, all in the context of our 2026 season inquiry:
What is mine to do?
In a complex and challenging world, it's tempting to give in to overwhelm, confusion, reactivity, or numbness.

How do we practice skillfully, to be the change?
How do we learn to make space for inner alchemy before outer action?

We have curated a set of 15 songs to offer a potent, specific transmission intended to broaden our bandwidth for thriving aliveness in these wild times --
to become the love that is the balm

We sing to resource ourselves, we sing to attune to our souls' deepest wisdom, and we sing to build capacity for powerful, strategic action that mends this sacred web of life.

Gene Keys

As a totally optional, spiritually-oriented resource, Lisa will reference the Gene Keys, by Richard Rudd. The Gene Keys are a deep and elaborate system of spiritual support.
Here’s a simple introduction.

The primary book is a large, dense reference - similar to the I-Ching or A Course in Miracles, but made for Westerners in this age. It is a go-to book for Lisa in sourcing wise, conscious elucidation on the song alchemy we are practicing.
